Edina Realty Says Goodbye to Non-Broker-Controlled Websites
The company cites data inaccuracy, consumer privacy and representation by out-of-area agents as key concerns.

Edina, Minn. – May 22, 2012 –Edina Realty announced today that it will no longer send its property listings to Realtor.com. However, due to technical issues, the company advises that it could take 10 days or more for its entire listings database to disappear from Realtor.com. Last November, Edina Realty also made a strategic move to stop sending its real estate listings to Trulia.com, a non-broker-controlled real estate aggregator.

Edina, Minn.—January 18, 2012 – Edina Realty again widened the gap between itself and its competitors in both traditional and lender-mediated home sales during 2011. For the 12th year in a row, Edina Realty maintained its leadership position with 21.5 percent market share, beating its nearest competitor by nine percentage points. The company also led the market in traditional home sales, with 25.9 percent market share, and lender-mediated sales, with 16.1 percent market share.
