I am a Minnesota Realtor. I live, work, attend Church, eat, and play in Northfield. Being an active resident in this community I am very knowledgeable of Northfield and the surrounding area in which I live. If you would have asked me a few years ago if I would like to move to Minnesota (I was living in Ft. Lauderdale Florida), I would have without hesitation said no. My husband was offered a job in Northfield, and since he grew up in Minnesota, away we went and here we are. He always shared with me that Minnesota was "God's Country", well now I have experienced what he meant by that. Since arriving here I have seen the beauty of the countryside, the many lakes, the serene winters, the sounds of the birds in spring, and the changing of the leaves in fall. Though all of these are great and wonderful, they do not compare to the wonderful people that live here. The warmth of the people more than compensated the cold the winter.
