I have been a successful realtor with Edina Realty for 20 years. It is amazing to
reflect on how the real estate business has changed with the advent of the “internet”
and all the technological “savvy” that accompanies it. I started when only the realtor
had the “catalogues” that were printed every two weeks containing all the recent “actives”, “pendings”, and “solds”. Now the consumer has all that information
at their fingertips and it makes for a formidable team as we plan our strategies to buy
or sell a home.

I attended St. Cloud State University majoring in theatre and minoring in Physical Education. When I left SCSU I found the “allure” of the entertainment world calling.
For years I worked theatres, nite-clubs and in “warm-up” groups for people like
Jerry Lewis, George Gobel, Ray Stevens, Jerry Van Dyke and others. Eventually I married, had two boys and decided to establish “roots” by becoming one of the local
little league coaches and a realtor.

Real estate was a real “people” business when I started. Real estate still is a people business with a lot more technology “thrown into the mix”. The bottom line is we still have to work face-to-face eventually and with my twenty some years in the business---that is a strength that has lead to my success.

I am married with two grown sons and still active as a member of my community.
