Mark Fruen's Bio

I have been a life long Minnesota resident.  I grew up in St. Louis Park as the youngest of four children.  I watched and traveled with my father during his years in sales.  I always enjoyed sharing his experiences with him and hearing his stories about how he helped people and enjoyed their company and professional relationships. This is my motivation for being in Real Estate Sales. 

Presently, my two daughters have grown up and are on their own.  My wife of 27 years and I are now "empty nesters" and most recently "Grandparents"!  We enjoy the company of our two Beagles - Buster & Daisy, watching our favorite movies when time allows and being with friends and family.

Through out our years of  raising our two daughters, we moved around the Minneapolis area buying and selling homes along the way.  This experience along with my Fathers' years in the industry with Edina Realty is my reason for becoming an active Realtor. 

I enjoy meeting new people and helping them out where I can.  Sharing laughs over stories and having good friends are important to me.  My closest friends would tell you that I am sincere, honest and loyal.  I am focused on details and have a quiet, easy disposition about me. 

I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from UW-Stout and previously owned a Supper Club.  I still enjoy cooking and entertaining along with enjoying the Minnesota North Shore and outdoor activities.  Minnesota is a place I am proud to call home.
