I often speak with clients and they say, I don't want to move yet. I have at least 5 years before I need to think about avoiding stairs, etc.
The best advice I can give you is: Move when you want to, not when you have to.
It is always best to move when you have time to make decisions about where to go, find the right place and make the move. If you wait until you have to move you often will have fewer options and have to select something that is not exactly what you want.
