If you're seeking out an action-packed day of fall fun, look no further than the Pumpkin Patch Extravaganza, now open in Richfield's Veterans Park. On weekends through October 27, the event area boasts mini golf, bounce houses, a pumpkin patch, and a hay ride. Plus, enjoy all 100 acres of Veterans Park by renting bikes through Wheel Fun Rentals - including tandems, kid's cycles, cruisers or a Surrey, a pedaled vehicle where everyone can gather under one canopied roof.
Those planning a day in the park can purchase event wristbands. For $19, kids ages 3 - 17 can participate in all the event options - 18 holes of mini golf, a scavenger hunt, unlimited uses of the inflatables, games and rides; they'll also be given a pumpkin to take home and carve. For $14, kids of the same age can participate in all of the above except mini golf. Adult wristbands are $9, and do not include a pumpkin.
