I have sold houses all over the Twin Cities Metro, and love going everywhere for work. However, I have a special spot in my heart for Bloomington, as that is where I call home.
Between all the expansive parks, playgrounds, the wonderful little lakes and the Minnesota River, there is always something to do close by. The city is also conveniently close to Minneapolis and what it has to offer.
There are many numerous fabulous restaurants in Bloomington. Some of my personal favorites are, the always hopping Willy McCoys, the famous Kevan's Penn Lake Roast Beef, the upscale Italian Ciao Bella, and grab a drink at Nine Mile Brewing.
Bloomington thrives with job opportunity as it has more jobs per capita than Minneapolis and St. Paul.
For decades the Bloomington school district been highly regarded. There are 10 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 2 high schools in the district (Jefferson and Kennedy boundaries roughly divided down France Avenue). Nine of the schools have been awarded Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, and another six have received the Minnesota School of Excellence award.
