The Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza

This is my husband, he won the 2014 Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza with a 4.73 pound Walleye with just minutes left in the tournament!
The Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza is the largest charitable ice fishing contest on earth. Founded in 1991 the event has been held annually 10 miles north of Brainerd. This tournament alone generates over $1-Million in revenue for area businesses and over $150,000 for area charities annually.
There will be over 20,000 holes drilled for the tournament this year.
If you want to fish the tournament or just go see what all the excitement is about, it will be held the last Saturday in January at
Hole In The Day Bay on Gull Lake.
