About Union Park St. Paul, MN

The Union Park community is made up of three smaller neighborhoods, Merriam Park, Snelling Hamline and Lexington-Hamline. Together, the neighborhoods make up St. Paul’s District 13. The community contains mostly residential neighborhoods and boutique commercial zones along Selby, Cleveland and Cretin Avenues. The Merriam Park neighborhood was originally created as the Twin Cities’ first suburb, but has since been integrated into the city of St. Paul. The Union Park District is also home to St. Catherine University and parts of St. Thomas University.
