Chris Kellogg Named New Manager of Edina Realty Apple Valley Office



Edina, Minn.—April. 28, 2016 – Edina Realty, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, has named Chris Kellogg the sales manager of its Apple Valley office, which houses nearly 70 real estate agents serving the Apple Valley area and surrounding communities.

Kellogg was formerly the manager of the Edina Realty Chanhassen office. She began her real estate career in 1976 as a real estate agent, and since 1997 has contributed vastly to Edina Realty’s training and education programs before becoming a sales manager in 2005. She is married with two kids and a three-legged dog named Krash.

Kellogg describes her management approach as casual and fun, while still providing effective coaching and instruction. "I really like getting to know my agents on a personal level and creating a powerful, supportive and cooperative environment for their real estate career to flourish," said Kellogg.

Closed sales in Apple Valley were up 11 percent over last March, according to the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS®. The area saw an increase of 15.5 percent in new listings, but remains at a listings shortage with 15.8 percent fewer homes on the market overall than one year ago. The average sales price of a home in Apple Valley was $238,312 in March.
