Edina Realty Enables Consumers to Search for Homes for Sale in Specific Neighborhoods



Edina, Minn. – July 6, 2010 – Edina Realty now enables consumers to search homes for sale in specific neighborhoods in St. Paul, Minneapolis, St. Louis Park, St. Cloud, Rochester, Duluth, Fargo, ND, and Eau Claire, WI on its website, http://www.edinarealty.com.

This new neighborhood search option makes it easier to target specific neighborhoods. Only neighborhoods officially documented by the counties and cities where they reside are searchable. Subdivisions are not searchable in the property search.

Using the map property search, potential home buyers can search for neighborhoods by typing the name into the location field. As you start typing, names of neighborhoods and cities will start appearing in a list from which you can select your desired location.

The new feature is one of several features that make Edina Realty’s website the most popular real estate site in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Fargo, N.D. with an average of over 1 million visits a month. Recently, Edina Realty also launched Walk Score, which measures every home for sale, including every listed property on the MLS, on a scale of 0 to 100 based on whether their properties are located in neighborhoods with nearby amenities that make them especially friendly to walkers.
