Edina Realty Title Promotes Jim Young to President

Brad Fisher, outgoing president, retires after dedicating nearly 30 years to Edina Realty Home Services

Edina, Minnesota – Feb. 4, 2025 – Edina Realty, the largest residential real estate firm in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, announced today that Jim Young was named President of Edina Realty Title, a role he will assume upon the retirement of Title President Brad Fisher in early February. A 28-year veteran of residential real estate, Jim brings a wealth of residential real estate experience to the role, having served multiple roles at Edina Realty during his tenure.

A Roseville, Minn. native, Jim joined Edina Realty’s Maplewood office in 1996, where he quickly became a top-performing agent and member of Edina Realty’s highest award category, the Chairman’s Circle. He also gained real estate experience working in a number of Edina Realty roles, serving as assistant manager at the Woodbury office, sales manager at the Stillwater and Maplewood offices, manager of the Wayzata office, and regional sales manager and senior vice president of Edina Realty. He also leads agent training and development for the company.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead and serve the team at Edina Realty Title,” Jim said. “I plan to be a robust ambassador for the service we bring and continue to deliver exceptional service to agents and clients. I truly believe we have the best process, the best service, and most importantly the best people in the industry.”

While working as a full-time agent, Jim saw an opportunity to assist newcomers in real estate, and he began creating curriculum and teaching real estate courses at Prosource and later Kaplan. He also served on the Board of Directors for the St. Paul Association of Realtors, The Minnesota Forms Committee and the Regional Multiple Listing Service. Jim was also honored with the Emma L. Rovick Award, commonly also known as “The Emmy,” in 2021, an award that honors Edina Realty’s founder and is given annually to one agent and one employee who exemplify the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, commitment, innovation and community. Throughout his career, Jim has been an enthusiastic supporter of Edina Realty’s family of companies, products, tools, full-service offerings and the Edina Realty Foundation.

Outgoing Title President Brad Fisher is retiring after 29 years with Edina Realty, effective Feb. 3, 2025. Brad joined the executive leadership team as president of Edina Realty Title in 2014, and his impactful guidance led to growth and industry-wide improvements as he took on multiple markets in the Midwest. Brad was instrumental in developing new remote closing options, increasing cybersecurity protocols, and forging an ongoing partnership with the Just Deeds Project, a non-profit committed to building more inclusive communities.

“Thank you to Brad for dedicating nearly 30 years of his career to Edina Realty Home Services,” said Greg Mason, Edina Realty Home Services president and CEO. “Brad’s commitment to ensuring agents and clients received high-quality service throughout their home closing made Edina Realty Title the standard by which other title companies are measured, and his fun demeanor and positive attitude have led to many friendships with colleagues, agents and other industry professionals. While we will miss him and his contributions, we wish him good health and happiness in his retirement.”
