Linda Leicht Named “Emmy” Award Winner

Edina, Minn.—January 20, 2010 – Linda Leicht, a licensed REALTOR® for 24 years, was honored with an "Emmy" award on Wed., Jan. 20 at Edina Realty’s annual "Expo" event. Established to honor company founder Emma L. Rovick, the "Emmy" Award is given annually to two people, one employee and one sales associate, who exemplify Edina Realty’s traditions of honesty, integrity, and commitment, and contribute significantly to the company.

Leicht joined Edina Realty’s Highland Park office in 1987. She began by specializing in the Longfellow and Lake Nokomis areas of south Minneapolis, but now works with clients throughout the metro area. She has achieved the following designations: Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI).

"Helping first time buyers realize their dream of homeownership has always been the most rewarding aspect of being a real estate professional," Leicht said. "And as a long term professional, I have enjoyed working with many repeat customers, even selling homes for three generations in one family."

Leicht volunteers for Bridging, the Southside Family Nurturing Center and is also an active member of the Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church. Leicht lives in West St. Paul with her husband, Douglas, and enjoys spending time with her three grown children and seven grandchildren.
