Leroy Bendickson Named 'Emmy' Award Winner

Edina, Minn. – Jan. 16, 2014 –LeRoy J. Bendickson, a REALTOR® with Edina Realty’s 6800 France Ave. Edina office and a resident of Mahtomedi, Minn., was honored with an Edina Realty “Emmy” award on Jan. 16 at a special luncheon honoring the two award winners.

Established to honor company founder Emma L. Rovick, the “Emmy” Award is given annually to one employee and one agent who exemplify Edina Realty’s core values of honesty, integrity and commitment, who excel in customer service, leadership, team building and/or make significant contributions to the company or industry. This year, past Emmy award winners and current nominees reviewed all of the nominations and voted for the top three finalists in both categories, and the entire company voted for the final award winners.

A REALTOR® with Edina Realty since 1992, Bendickson has led bike teams to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Minnesota chapter for more than 20 years. Bendickson’s “Real Estate Riders” consistently ranks among the top Minnesota teams to raise funds for the MS Society. Last year, his team of 225 riders raised $126,000 over the two-day 150-mile event.

In 2011, he received the Community Involvement Award from the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS® and was honored with the 2011 Good Neighbor Award by the National Association of REALTORS®.
