Edina Realty Maple Grove Office Moves to a New Location

Office Holds Open House on Tues., Nov. 12, 3 to 6 p.m.

Edina, Minn. – Nov. 1, 2013 – After more than 20 years in the same location, the Edina Realty office in Maple Grove has just moved to a new office space: Suite 200 in the Maple Grove Executive Plaza Building, located at 7767 Elm Creek Blvd. in Maple Grove.

To celebrate, the Maple Grove Edina Realty office is hosting an open house on Tues., Nov. 12 from 3 to 6 p.m., when real estate and mortgage professionals will be on hand to answer questions about the local real estate market and the process of buying and selling homes in Maple Grove.

The Edina Realty office in Maple Grove numbers 64 REALTORS® who work with homebuyers and sellers in Maple Grove, Plymouth, Corcoran, Medina, Rogers, St. Michael, Elk River, Otsego, Hamel and other areas of Hennepin and Wright Counties. Edina Realty has been the real estate market leader in Minnesota and western Wisconsin for the past 13 years according to the Regional Multiple Listing Service.

Edina Realty Maple Grove agents are experienced in all areas of the market, including single family homes, townhomes and condos, lakefront homes, new construction, lots and land development as well as foreclosures and short sales, said Edina Realty Maple Grove office manager Jennifer Cutter.

According to Cutter, the new office space features state-of-the-art technology, including several Apple TVs and fully outfitted private workspaces with computers, printers and phones. Most of the business of real estate takes place out in the homes and neighborhoods, and Edina Realty’s robust mobile applications facilitate on-the-go communications.

“Our office is unique because even though we’re all independent contractors, we still work as a team to assist our clients,” Cutter said. “Edina Realty starts by hiring top shelf agents, and ‘Big Red’ lends strong leadership and support that helps us stay up-to-date and maintain our stellar reputation. I love working for a company that represents and upholds my morals and ethics.”

In 2012, Edina Realty handled over $129 million in home sales in Maple Grove; as of mid-October 2013, sales volume was already over $125 million. So far this year, closed home sales in Maple Grove are up over 10 percent, and the average home price is up 7 percent from last year, according to the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS®.

“It’s an exciting time for our agents,” Cutter said. “We’ve shifted to a seller’s market, and homes are selling fairly quickly because we still have a low inventory and interest rates are still historically low.

“But while we may be in a sellers' market, buyers are still savvy,” Cutter said. “Buyers can see through sellers who are trying to get a better price than market value. Sellers still need to have their homes priced right and in good ‘move-in’ condition, because most buyers don’t want to do any work. But when buyers find a right-priced home that fits their criteria, they’re quick to move, and we often see multiple offers.”
