Rachel Shold VanDenBoom Named "Emmy" Award Winner

Edina, Minn. – Jan. 16, 2013 – Rachel Shold VanDenBoom, sales manager of Edina Realty’s Northfield, Faribault and New Prague offices, was honored with an “Emmy” award on Wed., Jan. 16 at Edina Realty’s annual Expo event, held at Saint Paul RiverCentre. 

Established to honor company founder Emma L. Rovick, the “Emmy” Award is given annually to two people, one employee and one agent, who exemplify Edina Realty’s traditions of honesty, integrity, and commitment, and contribute significantly to the company.

VanDenBoom has been with Edina Realty for 32 years. She was licensed in real estate in 1976 with Award Realty and joined Edina Realty in 1981. She has been managing offices since 1983, and managed the Edina Realty Prior Lake office for almost three decades.

A Certified Real Estate Broker, VanDenBoom has been active with several state and local real estate boards, including as a trustee of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee, a member of the Minnesota Association of REALTORS^®’ Governmental Affairs committee, and a board member of the Southern Twin Cities Association of REALTORS^® She has also served on many community boards and councils
