Sheila Holley Named "Emmy" Award Winner

Edina, Minn. - Dec. 18, 2017 – Sheila Holley, a REALTOR^® in Edina Realty's Brainerd sales office, was honored with the Edina Realty Emma L. Rovick Memorial Award, or "Emmy" on Dec. 12 at a special luncheon for the award winners.

Established to honor company founder Emma Rovick, the "Emmy" Award is given annually to two people: one employee and one real estate agent who exemplify Edina Realty's core values of honesty, integrity and commitment.

Holley has been with Edina Realty since 2003 and has been a Realtor for more than 30 years. She is described as the consummate professional, serving on most every Realtor committee at the local and state associations and on boards of directors at the local, state and national levels.

Holley currently serves on the executive board of the Minnesota Association of Realtors (MAR), is chair of ethics and arbitrations hearings and works on several committees.

At the national level, she has served on committees for Professional Standards, Commercial, and Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction.

Holley is a past president of Greater Lakes Area Association of Realtors and was named Realtor of the Year in 1996 and 2015. She was also named the MAR Realtor of the Year in 1998.

Outside of real estate, Holley is active in veterans issues. She is a past president of  the Pequot Lakes American Legion Auxiliary, serves on the Post 49 Honor Guard and serves as a crisis counsellor for veterans in need. She is an active commissioner on the Pequot Lakes Economic Development Committee.

Each year, Edina Realty agents and employees nominate their colleagues for the Emmy Award, and out of nearly 50 nominees this year, one agent and one employee were selected. Award winners must excel in customer service, leadership, team building and/or make significant contributions to the company or industry.
