Jamar Hardy Named Sales Manager of Edina Realty’s Office at 53rd and Lyndale, Minneapolis



Edina, Minn.— Dec. 8, 2015 Edina Realty, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, has named Jamar Hardy the sales manager of its office at 53rd and Lyndale in South Minneapolis.

Hardy first became a real estate agent in 2002 and has been with Edina Realty’s 53rd and Lyndale office since 2008. He is on the Board of Directors of the Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS® (MAAR) and serves on the National Association of REALTORS Diversity Committee.

Hardy is also on the board of The Link, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk youth battling homelessness among other issues. He has coached girls and boys high school basketball at Richfield for nine years and has also served as assistant head coach and skills coach of the girls’ basketball team at Wayzata High School since 2008.

While normally a slower time of year, there was a 5.5 percent increase in closed sales and a 10.3 percent increase in the average sales price of a home in Southwest Minneapolis compared to last October, according to MAAR. The average price of a home in the area is now around $379,777, or $191 per square foot.
