Only 12 miles southeast of Hudson and approximately 35 miles from the Twin Cities, River Falls, Wis., is a quaint college town along the Kinnickinnic River—giving it the nickname "City on the Kinni."
Sometimes called "Dreamtown," River Falls has also been compared to the fictional towns of Mayberry and Bedford Falls. As in the bygone eras of those fictional cities, you can see first-run movies at the River Falls Theater on Main Street for only a few dollars. Independently owned restaurants and shops help complete this Dreamtown's Main Street business district.
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls attracts traditional and non-traditional students to River Falls, bringing energy and vitality as well as arts and entertainment to the area. Because the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is the city's largest employer, our REALTORS® often help professors, college staff and other personnel find River Falls homes for sale.
