Edina Realty Foundation’s Night Light Gala raises $65K

The company’s annual fundraiser benefits Avivo and others serving causes related to homelessness

Edina, Minn.— June 16, 2025 — The Edina Realty Foundation recently held its annual Night Light Gala, a fundraising event attended by Edina Realty Home Services agents and employees and their guests to raise money for causes dedicated to serving the needs of people experiencing homelessness in communities throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. The total amount raised at the gala was $65,000. Each year, the Edina Realty Foundation designates one beneficiary to receive a larger portion of the funds raised. This year, Avivo was selected to receive $25,000.

Avivo’s mission is to end homelessness by increasing well-being through recovery and career advancement. The organization serves eight counties and the Twin Cities metro area through support, resources and programs. The Avivo Village indoor tiny home community offers 100 tiny homes as stable housing for individuals in Minneapolis and will be expanding into the St. Cloud area with a new tiny home community in 2026.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Edina Realty Foundation and the entire Edina Realty community for their generous support,” said Kelly Matter, President and CEO of Avivo. “This gift is more than a donation—it’s a powerful investment in the lives of individuals working to overcome tremendous challenges. With Edina Realty’s support, more people will find stability, recovery, and hope through housing and services that truly change lives. We are honored to partner with a foundation that believes in building stronger, more compassionate communities.”

Created in 1996, the Edina Realty Foundation offers financial support to nonprofit organizations serving homelessness prevention and those experiencing homelessness in the communities Edina Realty serves across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Much of the grant money raised comes directly from

“Through the generosity of our Realtors and employees, we’re proud to be able to support Avivo and many other deserving organizations throughout the areas we serve,” said Alex Westman, executive director of the Edina Realty Foundation. “This annual fundraising gala is a great opportunity to highlight what we can do when we come together under a common purpose, and it’s a fun time for everyone involved.”
