Edina, Minn.— Dec. 17, 2018 – Kevin Miller, manager of the Edina Realty Blaine office, was honored with the Edina Realty Emma L. Rovick Memorial Award, or “Emmy,” on Dec. 12 at a special luncheon for the award winners.
Established to honor company founder Emma Rovick, the “Emmy” Award is given annually to two people: One employee and one real estate agent who exemplify Edina Realty’s core values of honesty, integrity and commitment.
Miller started as a REALTOR® at Edina Realty in 1985 and transitioned to management in 2005. In addition to overseeing more than 50 agents at the Blaine office, Miller serves on the professional standards committee, the Forest Lake Planning Commission and volunteers at several charitable organizations.
Company-wide, Kevin may be best known as the commissioner of the Edina Realty Home Services annual softball tournament, which he founded more than 30 years ago.
His award nomination read, in part: “Kevin’s leadership skills, sincere interest in guiding agents to success and his positive and lighthearted humor make him an exceptionally well-rounded leader. I could not ask for a manager with finer skills and disposition. Kevin truly loves his job and career choice and it is evident every time you talk to him.”

Each year, Edina Realty agents and employees nominate their colleagues for the Emmy Award, and out of nearly 50 nominees this year, one agent and one employee were selected. Award winners must excel in customer service, leadership, team building and/or make significant contributions to the company or industry.
