FHA loan limits for Wisconsin in 2025

FHA loan limits for Wisconsin

The Federal Housing Administration helps first-time buyers with less-than-perfect credit purchase homes via FHA loans, which are sometimes referred to as “helper loans.” Because the FHA takes on more risk when offering these loans, loan limits are placed on the amount of money prospective homebuyers can borrow when taking out an FHA loan.

With only two exceptions, counties in Wisconsin have a 2025 FHA loan limit of $524,225. The two counties in Wisconsin with more expensive FHA loan limits — Pierce and St. Croix — have a higher borrowing limit of $529,000 in 2025.
